Hi, everyone. I’m JP Rao (  Jayaprakash Rao ) a creative writer, advertising professional, filmmaker, Educational Advisor, Soft skills trainer and an Ecopreneur. In fact, I call myself as a Knowledge Entrepreneur.

I have a creative bent of mind, cultivated for more than3 decades of diverse business ecosystems, such as Ad agency, Strategic business consulting, Corporate communications, Creative content writing, Training & Motivating young minds to overcome self-limiting beliefs, and replacing them with goal-oriented behaviors in alignment with their long term perspectives about life.

My Journey:                                           

I started work in a public sector bank in Mumbai for about 4 years. Due to the monotonous work, got bored and went back to greener pastures of farming in a remote village on the rain forest region of  Western Ghats at Agumbe. An un-ending tiff between the wildlife and me forced me to quit agriculture and get into a creative mode for survival through establishing an ad agency at Udupi.

Next two decades, I enjoyed creative pursuits by designing ad campaigns, making ad films, films for corporate and academic institutes, developing strategic promotional plans for clients.

During this period, I delved into the field of education at Agumbe and my association with the local Kannada medium high school, motivated me to join up the local group for setting up an English medium school- AVM residential school.

For the past 15 years, AVM has grown into a school of excellence, achieving 100% results all through, along with scores of awards in sports, games, Prathibha karanji competitions and many other things. It was mainly due to the support and management of the Academy General Education, Manipal, especially the noted Educationist and Visionary Dr.H.Shantaram, the Secretary of AGE, Manipal and also the Secretary of the school.

Ultimately, I wish to state the motto of my life is – “Applying Creativity, in all aspects of life, be it business, self development, education or service, through all my works in diverse spectrum  of activities, to answer  the ultimate the question in life –  How can we live a more productive and  prosperous life.

That inspired me to start up my dream project at Agumbe, in my beautiful farmland, which I left for greener pastures in the professional world. I realized the greener pastures are back home in the wilderness of evergreen rain forest village in Agumbe. Now I am all set to merge my life with nature and start-up what I always dreamed of….
